Your webcam must be connected and allowed. The system checks for your face every few seconds. No face detected = violation logged immediately.

Microphone Access
Your mic must be accessible. Noise detection picks up speaking, background noise, and notification sounds. Mute your phone before you start.

Good Lighting
Sit facing a window or a lamp. Poor lighting causes face recognition to fail even when you are physically present. Avoid sitting with a light source behind you.

Quiet Environment
Choose a room away from people, TVs, and loud environments. System notifications on your device can trigger noise violations even if you stay silent.

Stable Internet
A minimum of 1 Mbps is needed. Disconnecting mid-exam may cause auto-submission. Move closer to your router or use a wired connection if possible.

Stay on the Exam Tab
Switching tabs, minimising the browser, or opening other apps counts as a violation. You have a shared limit across all violation types — tab, face, and noise.

Use a modern browser — Chrome, Edge, or Firefox (latest version). Safari may have limited camera and fullscreen support. Avoid mobile browsers for proctored exams.
